Drew served as combat medic in the U.S. Army and worked as an EMT in New York City.

The single "Invisible Man" also went Gold in the U.S., and it was a top 10 hit in Canada and New Zealand. They followed their debut with 1998's "98 Degrees and Rising," which was certified 4x Platinum in the U.S. and reached #14 on the "Billboard" 200 chart. The album featured the Gold single "The Hardest Thing" and the Platinum single "Because of You," and both singles reached the top 10 on the "Billboard" Hot 100 chart.
